About Me

I am a fully qualified teacher with a real passion for foreign languages.

 

I am an Italian native speaker and hold a BA in English and German and an MA in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners. After graduating, I worked as a CELTA qualified teacher, teaching English to speakers of other languages. As a language specialist, I later developed an interest in supporting pupils with literacy difficulties and this led me to study for a Postgraduate Certificate in Specific Learning Difficulties and Dyslexia at the University of Birmingham. In 2020, I completed a Secondary Modern Languages (French & German) PGCE with QTS at Bath Spa University, during which I gained further teaching experience in a variety of different schools. 

 

I have experience of teaching in both the state and private sector, have supported EAL and SEND students, and have taught Italian to adults at Bath College. I am also fully DBS checked.    

 

I currently offer online lessons to learners of all ages and abilities.
